This is a family favorite! I substitute with pulled BBQ chicken, and use my local grocers cole slaw and it is divine!

I did this with chicken and used the slaw from a Big Daddy's House recipe (Fish Tacos with Smoky Slaw and they were amazing! I was so suprised how well it worked together!

Turned out really good cooked per recipe other than left in the oven about an hour longer to cook. Egg rolls turned out great with the sauce.

I didn't try the egg roll, I just cooked the shoulder as directed and used it as barbecue sandwiches, I also made big daddy's cole slaw as a side and it was awesome! I will have to try the egg roll next time.

Ok, I cheated as well.....Prior to this recipe I had never ate Coleslaw but I love making egg rolls so I had to try it and I must say I'm a fan....I cheated by using Tony Roma's already made pulled pork bc I'm the only one that eat porks in my house.....I loved the egg rolls and the dipping sauce...yummy

I have to confess that we used the idea more than anything. We started off with a botch of pulled pork in sauce from one of our local farms that specializes in pork, used the recipe that I found online for KFC cole slaw and baked the egg rolls rather than frying them. We assembled averything, put them in the oven and they turned out great. At first my wife was unsure about adding the coleslaw but it really added a lot of flavor. So five stars for an inspiring idea and directions.

We absolutely loved these. It is certainly worth the time it takes to make it. Very glad I saw this episode on Food Network. Thanks.

I made the pulled pork and put it on a seeded kaiser roll for my husband. He loved it. I am making the egg rolls tonight with the left overs. Gave the recipe to my daughter in law. She is going to try it next week.

Good stuff! But now I've just make the pulled pork without the egg roll wraps and served as a main course with noodles or potato salad. I also added a bit of molasses - just to give it a little pizzazz. But it didn't need it.
