I was not the biggest fan of the Neely's chicken & dumplings but my husband really enjoyed them. It took me a lot longer to make them than the recipe said but I'm not the fastest at prep-work and my husband is nothing like Pat (he stayes out of the kitchen as much as he can lol. Overall I got no complaints but I was expecting it to be a little thicker & creamier. I would describe the taste as Thanksgiving in a pot =

This is a great recipe! The only thing I did was buy an already rotisserie chicken and used that instead of making my own. My family loved it.

This was so delicious!! I substituted boneless/skinless chicken since I had it on hand and also used 1% milk I had instead of cream and this was a hit with everyone. My tips: make sure you have enough flour on your hands before handling the dough and make the dumplings very small.

My family loves this recipe especially my kids!! I have to triple the dumplings just to get one or two myself! It's so easy to make and delicious.

Autumn has arrived here in Pennsylvania and this dish is perfect for one of our chilly fall evenings. It is quick and easy, and, most important, delicious. Will make this for my extended family whenever we get together for dinner. I know everyone will love it.

Delicious. Never had chicken and dumplings before and wanted to try so I figured Pat and Gina would be the way to go. So good- I will be making this many more times as one of my winter dishes. Very easy too!

This is the way chicken and dumplings should be. Yummy too. You two are the best.

I ended up adding 1 cup milk to the broth and it ended up tasting great. It was easy and will definitely make it again.

I liked it with the taste of thyme! I always use dry mustard in dumplings so I had to add it here too. I love Neely's way to make them with the cream(tho I didn't have any so I used half and half and I think I'll keep doing it that way from now on. My mom's chicken and dumplings is still the best. But this was quite good, too. And I'm soo glad she doesn't use canned soup for her recipe!! I hate canned soup!

Giving this an excellent score because my family loved the dumplings and begs for me to make it again. It took me way to long to make it, to want to make it again. Maybe I made the dumplings too big because they tasted starchy/floury to me. I dont know what I did wrong. maybe I should cook them longer next time...hmmm. However, i will probably have to give in to my family and make it again.
