I usually make lemon bars but I saw this on tv and had limes so I made them. They are delicious. I have made them many times and have given the recipe to several people. They have been a big hit wherever I have taken them. Not sure Iwill ever make lemon bars again.

So yummy. Just like my Grandmother's lemon squares, but with key lime instead. Crust is yummy and the key lime topping is even better.

Wonderful! Don't change a thing. If you want it more green like limes, add a few drops of green food color, otherwise, it will be yellowish. This is an easy, tasty and refreshing dessert.

Delish. I increased the lime juice to my taste before baking it, and took down the sugar by 1/4 cup. I wanted more tart than sweet. It turned out good, with great chewy consistency though the sides were a tad brown...still more preferable to being raw. I just made sure to make a thin layer and placed the pan on a rack away from the top so the bars had a chance to cook before they browned.

I made this recipe last night and the bars were simply amazing. I did have to leave them in there for a few minutes longer than the recipe called for, but they turned out divine. They seem even better today! Great recipe and very easy!

I cooked these as directed, 25 minutes for the lime topping. I was afraid to leave them in any longer because they were golden brown on the top already and i didn't want them to burn. However, this did result in a not fully set pan of lime bars and therefore they were difficult to cut and serve. They were still delicious! But I will know to cook them a little longer next time!

These lime bars are great! I know that the following will seem odd or weird to some people, but at my dog training club, we bring a treat for the humans when one of our dogs earns a title. I made these and have been requested to find another reason to make them again . I had no trouble with the crust. The filling took a little longer to set. They are a little on the sweet side so I did not put the powder sugar garnish on the bars. I am also planning on making these bars for a retirement party for a co-worker.
