Cecilia since you are from the south (as my family is I am sure you have heard more than 1 person say hey y'all. Do you expect them to purge this from their vocabulary just because someone else on tv says the same thing. On to the point this is not the best mint julep I have had

I thought the whole point of this section is to critique the recipe not the verbage usuage. Let it go.. I'm from down south and most of us say "Hey Yall" all the time. BTW the drink was just okay for me..
