Is the meat supposed to be tough , even by marinating it over night? Can anyone tell me if I did something wrong or is skirt steak a tough meat?

THIS WAS ANOTHER EXCELLENT PAT & GINA CREATION!!! BUT BEWARE THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE RECIPE. THE MARINADE SHOULD READ 1.5 CUPS OF OIL AND NOT.5 CUP OF OIL. I HAVE BECOME USED TAPING ON THE DVR AND VERIFYING THE RECIPE FIRST, BUT THAT IS A SMALL PRICE FOR SUCH GREAT TALENT AS PAT AND GINA. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!
