This couple's behavior borders on being silly.

It was awful. I love Foodnetwork but I do believe they are in need of cooks if they continue to have this couple on. How did this couple get on foodnetwork is beyond me!!!!!!!

My family and I enjoyed this salad very much. The flavor and texture was more than we expected. I did venture off the recipe a little, I kept the vegetables separate from the leafy salad, some of my family members are not that into celery or onions so they ended up missing out. After dinner I did have about a cup of vegetables left over and decided to go with the no waste policy and stored them til the morning. The next morning I browned some sausage and added the left over vegetables with some eggs scrambled in and put it in a burrito wrap with some homemade salsa and sour cream, man o man that was a good breakfast. Love when you get two meals out of one. Will definitely have this again.

The salad lacked heat, but the Neely's as usual added their own "heat." Their behavior gets old.

Loved the salad. Did not put on lettuce but ate as vegetable side salad. I'm counting calories and trying to lower my cholesterol. This provides a low cal, tasty meal for me. Used low fat cheese and added a little hot sauce. Shared with diet group and they were impressed, too.

This was pretty good, but not as good as I had hoped it would be. It was a little bland. My mother-in-law loved it and asked for the recipe. . . she loves veggies! I would serve it over less lettuce next time.

I added some chopped hot pepper to mine and it was so much better. I doubt i will make this dish again the salad mix ruined it as far as i am concerned.

What a disappointment; where's the sweet and where's the heat???!!! and why did I waste that trip to the grocery store today? I just had to warn you, do not make, and if you do fall for this recipe as I did, I hope you can doctor this snooze fest up, and if you do, please let us all know how. i've got a huge bowl of the stuff in my fridge and i'd like to salvage it if I can.

I tried this recipe today January 4, 2009. I liked it very much. I am a fan of bell peppers so this recipe was right up my alley. I can eat w/o the lettuce though. I would have favored more heat. I think that would have made the difference. It was good none the less. Thanks,
C.P.

I added 1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper and served the veggies on a lettuce leaf rather than mixing the veggies with salad mix. My guests loved it!
