This is a great recipe, the smoked Gouda cheese is such a great touch. I used bacon instead of broccoli, but other than that did not change anything.

Good evening. I just want to say that I really love this recipe and have put my own spin to it. The folks in my home town love it as well. Thanks again and be blessed.

Oh,my! I made these for dinner tonight and they were absolutely delicious. I did add bacon in with the potato mixture and it was a tasteful treat. I have tried several twice baked potatoes, but these are far by the best. This may be the potato I make for Father's Day. My husband loved them. Get the grill going and have these in the oven waiting to be eaten.

Easy recipe with delicious results. I couldn't follow exactly because I was missing sour cream. Instead I used Greek yogurt. I'm sure the sour cream would have been better, though. I couldn't resist the addition of bacon, as per other reviewers. I used a 12 oz bag of broccoli and cauliflower that you find in the fresh vegetable aisle. Just steam for four minutes in microwave and they were easy to mash. Substantial on it's own for a main. Will definitely make again.

We made them with bacon instead of broccoli with a little extra sour cream. Also cut them in half instead of keeping them whole to be more like a potato skin without frying them.

I didn't use Gouda--just more cheddar. I put a little bacon in and used it as a main dish. They were great!
