These potatoes are insanely good! I plan to make another batch and freeze them. They are flavorful, creamy, cheesy, yummy! A definite keeper!

This is an awesome recipe! The smoked gouda really shines in the potatoes while the cheddar is the prefect accent. I followed the recipe to a T and everyone in the family loved it! This could be a side dish for a larger meal or the main attraction with a salad for a lighter fair: I will definitely be making these again soon.

I made these last night with "Gina's Perfect Roast Chicken" from the same episode, and they almost out-shined the chicken! (but not quite, the chicken was the BOMB! Loved the smoky flavor of the Gouda, loved the broccoli, loved everything about it! Will make these again, and again!

We made these potatoes for dinner last night and they turned out great! I didn't have any Gouda...so I used a smokey cheddar instead. The family loved these. We will definitely be making them again!!

These were very good. I accidentally mashed the broccoli in with the potatoes. Next time I will do it as two separate layers. Excellent flavor!

First I want to thank you so much for the love that the two of you have for one another. When I watch the show with my husband, we always remark how you two remind us of us. Thank you so much for the black love that is shown. I fixed the twice baked pototoes. I did not have the different kinds of cheeses on hand at the time so I just used what I had. None the less my family of six enjoyed them very much. It is sho nuff a keeper. I will experiment with the recipe next time and use cheedar cheese soup to make it more cheesy. Thank you again for a job well done and keep the love flowing; you never know how the love that God has blessed you two with will influence someone else. I look forward to meeting you when you come to the Arlington Costco on 5/15/09; I'll be the one wanting a hug with long locks. God bless you, your family and all that is attached to you!!!!

I made these last night, along with the chicken from this recipe and they are so good! I agree with other posters, the smoked gouda is a must in these potatoes. They are, however, extremely filling so I don't recommend making a lot of other food or you will have a lot of leftovers. Next time, I think I might add some pancetta and just make it a meal in itself.

I just made this for Mother's Day dinner with my in-laws and they all liked it!. I made 6 potatoes instead of 4. I added another tablespoon of butter and another 1/4 cup of sour cream but left the broccoli amount the same. I added a tiny bit more cheese, but not much. The potatoes were delicious!

I made these potatoes last night. They were delicious. I've never had gouda cheese before. I didn't know if I could find it. It was right at Walmart and wasn't too pricey. I was torn between regular and smoked gouda. I just grabbed the smoked and it made the potatoes taste like bacon was in them. Great job on this one Gina and Pat.

The potatoes were great and a hit with dinner guests. The gouda cheese definitely provided a majority of the flavor so do not skip or skimp on this ingredient.
