This recipe is great and the shows is even better. They are showing us how to make great dishes and how we should love and interact with our better halves. I contend that if we were a little more like Pat and Gina we all may be a little happier within ourselves and would understand whats really going on. I love the recipes and I love the show. I am a man and I would love it if my wife was a lot more like Gina, women Janice learn what your men want you will be happier in the long run.

This is an excellent recipe. It reminds me of my early years when my mother would make ham and put the pineapple rings and cherries on top! Really takes me back...switching gears, I want to address people who don't care for the interation between Pat and Gina...u don't like it...don't watch it. I cannot believe that persons who watch then complain...who do you want them to be? They are who they are and cannot be anyone else. I love them. Cooking is more than performing for the camera...it's about family, good times and yes, heaven forbid, a kiss or two...I love it!

I make a ham about twice a year. I have my own way, but when I seen this ham I knew I had to try it. I was reading some of the comments posted about Pat and Ginas behavior on air, personally I see nothing wrong with it. I think it adds to the show I mean after all the show is called Down HOME with The Neelys. So for everybody who seems to have an issue CHANGE THE STATION. Oh, and by the way food is not good if its not made with love Pat and Gina are just a little more expressive with it.

Good Grief Janie and co-horts, Get a Life. Are you jealous? I am a 58 year old who has been married to the same man for 40 years and Thank God we still act the same way. Bump Away Gina, In a sad world such as ours today it's great to see some happiness for a change. If they don't want to watch they can change the channel. And by the way, WHY are they still watching? DUH???? Maybe they need a man to love them like your Dreamy man loves you. OH by the way GREAT HAM!!!! lol

This recipe was easy to follow and good to eat. And unlike some or should I say one comment. I looooooooooooove the way Gina acts!! She is full of life and spice and she is enthusiatic about what she does best. I love her energy on her show. And it is her show so she should act like she wants to. I get a kick out of her and her husband. And if some people like any one in KY does not like it then here is an idea. Don't watch it!! She has plenty of fans out here that appreciate her and one person won't stop this show. So if you don't like it don't watch it. Trust no one cares

I am not the most savvy in the kitchen and wanted to make a ham for my husband at his request. I looked at a bunch of recipes and thought this was easy to follow and ended up being a big hit! I have a feeling that it won't be the last time I make it - came out perfectly juicy and full of flavor.

I didn't have any pineapple rings and cherries, but I substituted mandarin oranges and grapes. Interesting flavor profile but I will actually follow the recipe next time.
