I love this recipe. As a personal preference, I did omit the nuts and the coconut, however I'm sure they would be wonderful as well. I have made this on several occasions including thanksgiving and Christmas, and I got rave reviews. My grandmother, who makes a fantastic sweet potatoe casserole, even preferred the taste of this recipe over hers. I will definitely keep this recipe.

My husband ended up making this recipe. He loved it, and I thought it was okay. He liked the lightness of it, and I just didn't care too much for the cashews and the over all flavor.

This dish is WONDERFUL. Sweet and salty all together. It is a little too sweet to me so I cut down sugar but everyone else loves the original recipe. So simple and easy to make. Can't go wrong with this. It's your next holiday or party or potluck famous dish!

I made this for my family and friends this Thanksgiving and it was a BIG HIT! It was the first dish to be completely gone. Everyone is requesting I make this again for Christmas dinner and I look forward to it, because it is easy to make. Thank you Nellys for sharing this FANTASTIC dish. Love it...love it...love it!

I made this recipe for 40 people at a Thanksgiving party. I have to multiply by 5 to get to 40 servings and had no problem. I removed the nuts because my son is allergic to nuts. I like it sweet so I didn't put salt and pepper. I had compliments from friends about the coconut taste in this recipe. My Sister asked me to make it again and I am making it today for Christmas. Thank you Neelys and Merry Christmas!

I wanted to love this, but I honestly didn't think it was sweet enough! Even after adding about 1 1/2 C. more marshmallows! I subbed pecans for the cashews. I guess I'm used to the super sweet traditional sweet potato / marshmallow dish that is made from canned yams (yuck. BUT, I have to say, I really missed the sweetness! I did like the souffle part of this though, fluffy and creamy. If you don't like super sweet - this is the recipe for you!
