"Awesome"...my family loved it. Left out the cashews using just the coconut and marshmellows. This dish got the most compliments and requests to make it again for Christmas! My granddaughter helped me with the mashing. We are going to make this together again and again as a family tradition! Thank you very much.

More marshmallows and fewer nuts. Pecans instead of cashews. That's what the crowd said. Me? I like my sweet potatoes sweet on their own and not this much sugar -- personal taste. Serves many more than recipe states: as part of a table for 11, there were lots of leftovers.

OMG!!!! This is the 2nd year that I have used this recipe and it jus keeps getting better. Even though I can't add the cashews because of allergies and the family doesn't like coconut you didn't miss them, The marshallows do the job just fine. Great Job Neelys!!!!! Thank You So Much

Very tasty! I have used the same two sweet potato recipes for twenty years and was ready for a change. This was a good one. I altered it a little bit- added a little ginger and freshly grated nutmeg. I mixed everything together except the eggs and the topping on Wednesday. Thanksgiving day, I decided to follow another reviewer's suggestion and fold in the egg whites (I mixed the yolks in separately, beforehand. The flavor was so good, we decided not to even add the topping. Everyone really seemed to like them. Would definitely make them again.

Great recipe! After seeing you make this on your show I decided to use your recipe instead of my normal glazed sweet potatoes and boy am I so glad I did. The family, especially the kids loved it! I made it exactly as the recipe states minus the cashews because of peanut allergies. Thanks for another great recipe that made our Thanksgiving meal delicious!

This recipe was very nice! I added a tablespoon of Grandma's molasses and toasted the coconut prior to mixing it with the marshmallows and cashews.

I'm not a fan of sweet potato but my dad is and I have to say it was delicious. I did add condensed milk along with the evaporated milk, wipped the egg whites and added nutmeg as another reviewer did and it made silky sweet dessert. I did omit the cashews and coconut but as a personal preference.
