The flavor was authentic and better than any chinese restaurant. The recipe is very easy and about 3/4 could be prepared in advance for a quick "throw together". The sauce could be premade, the broccoli blanched, and the chicken pre-cooked prior to the actual combining of all the ingredients. Because I have teenage sons, I used 1.5 pounds of chicken thighs and 3 cups of broccoli, and doubled the sauce as was suggested and was glad I did. Served this with brown rice and my family would have licked the platter clean had I let them. This is absolutely delicious! The highest reviews possible!

Yes, this is another great recipe to add to my collection from the Neely's. We also used fresh grated ginger and added cashew's; it was so goooooood!

I doubled the sauce too for the same reason - husband likes more sauce and honestly, it did need it! And just for the novices like me, the grocery store actually has boneless, skinless thigh meat. I didn't know this! I bought thighs and painfully skinned and chopped the meat away. Duh, me. It's so good with their fried rice recipe or just white rice.

I doubled the sauce (my husband & I like more sauce and added 1/2 cup of shredded carrots along with the broccoli. It was good, but the chicken tasted a bit bland. Maybe if the chicken was marinated in the sauce before stir-frying or adding some salt & pepper to it would help? I don't know if I will make this again.
The recipe, as written, has some errors. I would not have known if I didn't see the episode first. The show stated using 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil....not 1/2 tablespoon, as in the recipe. The show stated using 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes....not 1/2 tablespoon, as in the recipe. Also, the recipe has you adding red pepper flakes to the sauce and to the garlic, ginger and green onions. The show has you adding red pepper flakes to just the sauce!

This was my first time making a stir-fry so I was a little intimidated. To be honest, I thought it was going to taste awful when I smelled the sauce as I was mixing the ingredients because some of them I had never used before but it turned out great! The next time I'll tinker with the ingredients in the sauce and the veggies more to my family's personal tastes but I definately have this recipe saved for later!!

This sauce was soo good; resturant quality. I took the advice of other ratings and doubled the sauce; very glad I did. I added more red peppers then the recipe called for for extra heat. I used chicken breast instead of thighs; other than that I pretty much stayed true to the recipe. Will definitely keep this in rotation. Next time I plan to try it with beef.
