I made this for Thanksgiving last year, and my veggie hating hubby loved this one!! His sister asked for the recipe. I've made it a few times since then, and my Mother, a connoseur of both greens and cornbread, asked to take some of the leftovers home! I use breakfast sausage instead of chorizo to suit my family's tastes. Another quick shortcut (necessity is the mother of inventionI've tried, is using a large can of "Glory Mixed Greens" in lieu of fresh greens.

My husband's family has made me the "dressing maker" for holidays and today I decided to try this recipe. It is great! I've never had a dressing with anything other than chicken or turkey in it and the chorizo sets it off! I used chicken chorizo as opposed to pork and I added 1 can of cream of celery. It probably would have still been wonderful had I omitted it. Hubby says this could replace our traditional hen dressing........ 5 stars easily!

I made this dish for my family. My 11 year old granddaughter is the only one who would try it. My family is not much on mixing things together. I grew up with my Dad mixing all kinds of stuff. He was an Army mess hall cook. I liked it very well. I took it to a Christmas dinner party with my college professors, friends, and classmates. They loved it!

This was a great hit! Thanks soooo much a nice twist on traditional dressing with the Chorizo, We all know Pat likes her pig, oink oink but i don't so I used turkey chorizo that i found at Whole Foods. I totally followed the recipe except I didnt use butter. I will make again

This is also a family friendly recipe my daughters prepared all of the ingredients and merge them together and I simply put it in the oven.

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving, It was a hit, everyone loved it. This dressing is one I will make all the time, not just on a Holiday. It reminded me of tamale's with a little kick. It was delicious !!!! Anyone making it will not be disappointed.

Pat's Chorizo and Collard Green Dressing is delicious. I've tried many of the Neely's recipe's, but I didn't know the combination of this one could taste so good. My family loves it plus I wanted something other than the traditional dressing. Thanks! Will do it again next year!
