This dressing was a hit at my Christmas dinner. I don't like dressing or cornbread, but even I loved this and went back for seconds!

Coming from a woman who have NEVER like dressing, I made this for Thanksgiving just to try something new. This is the ONLY dressing to date that I like. The flavors were incredible! My husband (who didn't eat dressing, kids and friends LOVED IT!! Ya'll put your FOOT in this recipe! You hear me!! The only thing different I did was that I had already made greens for the holidays so I just added those. Wonderful, Wonderful dish!!

Saw the program on Saturday and made it on Sunday to take it to work on Monday for the office potluck luncheon. Made my own buttermilk cornbread, replaced the chorizo with a little chopped up smoked turkey leg, which is also good as a pork substitute, and added 1/4 cup of sour cream. I tried it and it came out perfect! I'll bet it would be just as good with cheddar cheese added. Oh, I'm also cooking two turkeys for the potluck, so on to the Neely's turkey seasoning. Thanks for the "keeper" recipes!!!

This was excellent and really pretty easy. I made a mistake and added 4 oz of butter instead of 4 Tablespoons, but butter makes things better! Really, really good. This is a keeper.

I just pulled this out of the oven about half an hour ago, and of course, I had to sneak a taste. WOW. This is a winning flavor combination, and I cannot wait for my family to take a bite! I used Jimmy Dean's reduced fat pork sausage instead of the chorizo since I have a little one eating it, and I also substituted sage for the parsley. It is moist without being gummy, and it came out perfectly cooked (since I will be browning the top just before serving. Using the collards was genius, a great southern touch. Thank you for this great recipe, Neely family!

Best dressing recipe i've ever had! Most dressings are very bland, the flavors of this recipe were perfect. I used regular sausage instead of chorizo, and I even had family members who don't like collard greens and carrots talking about how much they loved it. I will never make any other dressing, it was great!!

When I viewed Pat and Gina making this dish, I knew I absolutely had to try it. I will be making it for Thanksgiving. My husband already has the chorizo!! I look forward to sharing with you the outcome of this dish. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
