This chili is super tasty. My husband says it's the best chili recipe he's ever tasted, and he's hard to please. : It's also not hard to make. The smoked paprika and chipotle chili powder were a little hard to find, but they're so worth it!

SO AMAZING!! A little to much heat for my kids so I cut it down by 75%. Smoked paprika is amazing! Use it on a lot of recipes now!

The spices in this chili are spot on - I made this several months ago and it has turned me on to trying smoked paprika in other recipes. I made no changes except using Sam Adams instead of Budweiser because that is what we had. The leftovers are great over pasta, highly recommended... thanks Neelys!!

What an awesome Chili recipe this is. I have made it a few times with minor adjustments. Less beer and adding a little sugar, and ketchup and I only use 1 28oz can of crushed sauce to lessen the liquid. So far all of the Neeleys recipes have been on point. Remember the key to perfecting food is based on your own taste.

This recipe is exactly the same as one I found on the meatless blog... I thought it looked familiar since I had already made this one... So good

Excellent! I know that this may seem repetitive, but this REALLY is the best homemade chili recipe I have ever found. The chipotle chili powder can be adjusted for personal heat level, as is would be about a 3 alarm chili with residual kick. For those who prefer a little less heat, half the chipotle chili powder for a comfortable heat level for the less adventurous. Wowzers! I will never need to search for another chili recipe again. PERFECTO!

The best chili recipe ever! How can you go wrong when you start cooking with bacon? Very, very good.
