The pie tasted good. However the filling was very runny. I followed the recipe according to the directions but used nutmeg instead of allspice in the crumb topping. I used frozen peaches that had been completely thawed. The peaches were not tender and the crust was raw. The topping was golden brown and I baked the pie for 45 minutes at 375°F. Again the taste was good but I will not use this recipe again.

This was pretty good. I added a about 1 tsp of vanilla flavoring to give it an extra uumph. I also dotted the filling with butter for more richness. I made my own pie crust and everybody loved it. I to give out the recipe to quite a few people and it requested often. I have so many recipes that I want to try though so I hope I can talk my family into wanting to try something else. I will be making it again though, but I just want to make it in the future. I love watching the Neeley's. They have inspired my hubby and I to cook in the kitchen and it really has been fun. They are the same age as my husband and I are except I am Pat's age and my husband is Gina's age. Happy cooking and try cooking with a loved one because what could be a chore can be made into fun when you are with the one you love.

eeehhhh.... I thought this recipe was O.K. Had lots of leftovers. I'm going to look for a better peach pie recipe out there. I know there should be something better than this one..

This was my first attempt at making a peach pie and it came out fantastic! However, I didn't go with the crumble topping, I used the other pie crust in the package as the topping. The flavor was awesome and it wasn't a very running pie either. I added 1/8 tsp. of nutmeg and placed a few chunks of butter on the filling, about 2 Tbls., before I put the top crust on. Thank you Neelys' for making my birthday extra special, even though I had to bake my own birthday pie!

I love the flavor of this recipe. Infact one of my favorites in regards to flavor. It's easy to make too. However my "crumble topping" is soggy. I admit I did not add almonds because I do not like nuts. Any suggestions on how to make the crumble topping more "firm and crumbly"?

I did everything the recipe said, but it came out runny! I'll try it again, because the taste was wonderful... It just looked bad.
