Prepared as directed but cooked on our smoker for 3 hours as they cook at about 225 degrees. Best ham ever!

And Nesha...I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU...GET A LIFE JANINE. This venue is no place for stuff like this. Keep your bigoted views to yourself (if possible on the Food Network.

People raved about the taste of the ham. I am indulgent, so I poured Peach Liqueur over the ham after it cooled and put it in a tight container so the alcohol would not evaporate quickly. After cutting the ham, I poured the juices over the ham, as well. Man, oh Man!

I made this ham yesterday for Labor Day dinner. It came out fantastic! The whole family raved about it. We ladled the sauce with the marinated peaches in it onto the sliced ham at the end and the flavors were fantastic. Basting every 15 mins kept the ham nice and moist and it really isn't that time consuming--takes about 60 seconds to do. We used a ten pound ham with the same proportions of ingredients and it worked out fine!

I made this ham for dinner tonite and it was a hit! Going to make it all the time, not just for the holidays! Love the peach flavor, never gonna use my old recipe again! I love the Neelys! I'm a big fan of alot of the food network shows, I love Bobby, Tyler, Rachael, Giada, Robert Irvine, etc! As for Janine in Tx, if you don't like the show, then don't watch it. There are plenty of other shows to watch. I'm a white woman and absolutely LOVE Pat and Gina! Especially Pat! Hes wonderful...Very caring pleasant man that loves his wife and life. I watch every episode and have made alot of they're recipes. Very comfy food. I'd love to cook and chat in the kitchen with them anytime.. has nothing to do with race Janine, get over it.

Im sorry I know that this forum is supposed to be for comments about the recepie but i have to respond to Janniie! ARE U SERIOUS?? The Neelys are good people who are just trying to have a cookng show. I dont know what part of the south you are from but where Im from we all say "yall". Also please explain to me how is Brown Sugar a racial reference? Please only someone who is lookng to make something out of absoultly NOTHING would make this a racial thing. Im sure my fellow food channel lovers will not feel the same way you do wether black, white or whatever. Why cant it just be about the food? If you dont like what Pat and Gina do or say Dont watch! Im sure everyone of all races are welcomed and will feel welcomed in the Neelys kitchen but I dont see what race has to do with it. Myself being a Black woman feel warm and excited when I see my favorite shows with Paula, Neelys, Rachel, Bobby, that Dreamy Tyler or whoever. Its not about race its about cooking!

Made this for Easter dinner for the family and they loved it. I don't eat meat so I didn't try it but from my family's reaction to it, I don't think I would have gotten the chance to try it. It was gone very quickly. I used a 6 lb ham and cut all the ingredients in half and apparently that worked out just fine. Will make again!! Super easy recipe!! Thanks!!
