This is really easy and delicious but make sure to not take it out of the freezer too early. The first time that I made this pie it thawed out much faster than expected and was (delicious mush. Just not the same. I don't remember exactly how long I left it out, but I would think no more than 30 minutes in the summer time.

I made this and everyone loved it! It's very rich so I could only eat a small portion. I also prefer without the hot fudge sauce but everyone else liked the sauce. Instead of the chocolate shavings on top I chopped up some peanut butter cups and used those. It's something I'll definitely make again!

So great! I now make this all the time because people always rave about it! I don't make the hot fudge sauce, but just chop up some peanut butter cups and put it on top.

Great pie! Not your average home made peanut butter pie. Used 1 c of peanut butter because I like the extra flavor. Substituted Magic Shell topping instead of their fudge topping. Loved it! Highly recommend!

I'm a peanut butter lover and so is my family so we loved the flavor-filled peanut butter pie. My son really loved the fudge topping, not overly sweet. My first try at melting chocolate over double boiler. It was easy! My only concern was that I would have liked the texture a little lighter. It could be due to the Low Fat Peanut Butter that I used. Good rating pie!

This was an absolute hit this year for thanksgiving!Just some tips to share for future prep- I made the pie the night before and left it in the freezer overnight. It should thaw out at room temp for approx 3 hours before the time it should be served ( I was worried that it was still going to be rock solid by the time we served it, but 3 hours out of the freezer was perfect. It was still cold, but easy to slice. Also, definitely top with chopped peanut butter cups and mini choc chips. I did buy the peanut butter morsels at the store but decided to go with the actual peanut butter cups- def think this was the better choice. Also, I made the fudge topping the morning of, stored it in a separate container at room temp, and heated it up at in the microwave for 30-60 seconds at the time it was going to be served. It was perfect! I also served it with homemade whipped cream, perfecto!
