Awesome flavor! Although I didn't cook the pork in a smoker, I did
follow the recipe. I used my slow cooker and it turned out delicious.

BarBQue sauce ONLY, I made this sauce ( not their meat though it wasn't a bad sauce it was a little too sweet for my taste. I like a more savory. trying to make it less sweet I added 1T chilli powder, cuman, and some of the dry rub I was using on my meat. It helped but not my fave. If you like a sweeter one this might be a good one for u

i decided to make an account today because of this recipe. I've made this 3 times for my family and every time it comes out great. Only thing is that its sweeter than I personally like so I add more cayeee pepper and I add a a TBSP of red peppers. This recipe beats all the pulled pork in my area and its a great recipe to do if you want to get an ego boost hahaha. Last night I made it for the third time and decided to add a TBSP of smoke flavor because I always cook this in a slow cooker. I also made The Neelys cole slaw aswell. Between 4 people we nearly finished all of it. If you wanna do it like me, put the rub on, sear it, then put it in the slow cooker with the barbeque sauce(no need to reduce BBQ sauce with a slow cooker and it takes about 5-7 hours to be done. In fact, its 8:50 in the morning here and im craving the leftovers right now thinking about it hahahaha.

Awesome sauce, I did add a touch of Cayenne to spice it up cause it was just a little too sweet for my family. Other than that everyone loves it a lot better than store bought bbq sauce.

The best sweet pork Barbeque sauce ever. Much to sweet for any meat but pork, but a sauce I can eat out of the pan! I made a few changes though. I did because I did not have onion powder, was I used use finely chopped fresh onion and I used more of their tasty rub seasoning. And that amount of mustard powder was way to strong for my taste, So I did add more kethcup and tomato paste to cut the strong mustard taste. Not paying attention, I made the full recipe for just two of us. I wonder if you can freeze or can? This will be my go to recipe for all pork barbeque sauce! With my corrections for my taste of course.

Excellent pulled pork recipe. The entire family loved the sauce. I did add some tabasco sauce to the sauce for a little kick. My husband is from Jackson, Tenn. and they make the sauce a little hotter. Thanks for the recipe Neelys and love your shows.

for cgmeyer2. If you have more than 1 burner then just light only one and keep it pretty low until you reach the desired temp. It does take some time to monkey with and wait for the temp to stabilize so be patient. If only one burner try to set it as low as possible and put the meat as far from directly over the flame as possible, also try adding a pan of water below. It can be done. I've done crock pot with the liquid smoke and it's good but just not the same as getting the well done outer crust and smoky flavor.
