Delicious....with a minor change. I didn't have a smoker or grill to cook it on for 6 hours so I cooked it how I cook kahlua pig; wrapped tightly in foil, set in a pan, at 350 for 3 hours. It fell apart into lovely pieces. When it cooled I seperated the meat from the fat/skin/bone and shredded it with my fingers. I did this the day before we ate it.....on the next day I put the meat, some of the sauce into a crock pot and brought it out to our table in the yard, plugged it in. It was perfect, the pot kept it warm and we ate it with cole slaw, corn on the cob and Grandma Jean's potato salad! I will be making this again in a few weeks!!

As usually true, the Neely's recipe is outstanding! Used slow cooker that I use for my turkey recipe. Lined the cooker w/tin foil. Put wet apple wood chips in a loose tin foil wrap at bottom of cooker. Added beer infused w/cinnamin, garlic, worcestershire, bay leaf in a glass measuring cup inside the cooker. Put meat on a rack and turned the temp. to 275*F. Cooked for 9 hrs since the cut of meat was 13#. Temp gauge read 185*. Made the Neely's BBQ sause & followed their instructions. The meat was delicious! Every one raved! We will do this again soon...

This was by far the best pulled pork I have found. We followed all the instructions and everybody loves it. I buy Maries coleslaw dressing, mix up the coleslaw and top the sandwich with that and wow! The flavor is the best. I have not used the bbq sauce because we have a favorite recipe already which is a mustard base.

Not only was the BBQ sauce fabulous but the ingredients were all already in my pantry! I will be making this BBQ sauce for other things too! The dry rub for the pork was fabulous too! I put the rub on, then seared it, then cooked it in a crockpot for about 7 hours on low. It came out great!

I love this recipe! And evryone I feed it to Love it too!!! THe only thing I do differently is, I cook it in a crock pot. I put the rub on the night before and let it sit in the fridge. In the morning I place it in the crockpot and fill it with water till it is emersed. Then I let it cook for 8-10 hours, pull it out and shredd it with the back of a fork. It falls to shredds so easily! Then I place it back in the crock with the BBQ sauce for another hour or two on low to heat it up again and let it soak in the flavor from the sauce. Then it's ready to serve in your favorite bun!

I made this tonight for my family, my husband said it was the best pulled pork he ever had...I did not have corn syrup so I substituted about an 1/4 cup molasses for the corn syrup, AWESOME flavor! so good...and I used just plain homemade coleslaw overtop---( one quarter of a cabbage grated by hand, with a carrot grated, a pinch of sugar and mayo What an excellent dinner! soft rolls and breadnbutter pickles add a little extra!

I cooked mine in the oven and it came out awesome. I only had a 5.5lb. pork butt so I cut the bbq sauce recipe in half. I'm not sure if I let it simmer too long but it wasn't nearly enough. Also I didn't have corn syrup or dry mustard so I substituted honey and Dijon, then added a couple of tbl spoons of adobo sauce for some kick. It was awesome. I will use again and the people I cooked for asked for the recipe so it was a crowd pleaser!!

When it comes to BBQ trust any recipe the Neelys' offer. The BBQ sauce alone in this recipe is a 10 out of 10. What makes this recipe a real winner is how easy it is to make and the ingredient list is not a mile long. This is my new go to recipe for pulled pork sandwiches.
