I haven't tried yet. Want to. Love so many of your recipes. What is in the Neelys Dry Rub?

Exactly what I had in mind: a home-cooked kind of meal... but better than what Mom used to make (sorry, Mom. This was my first attempt at beans and rice, and it came out well, so you know the recipe's a good one :

As a French Creole (France I tend to use more of the recipes from the Island to cook beans but this time I wanted to try the Neelys' recipe. I was literally flabbergasted. WAOWWWW....light and very tasty...in spite of the beans. I shall make it again. Thank you the Neelys.

The Neelys never disappoint. Made this dish the other day. Easy and sooo yummy. Just the right amount of spice.

This Recipe was definatley added to my recipe collection. It is so fast and easy. to make It tastes to good to be so easy. Our friend makes Red beans and rice the authentic way with andouille sausage and dried beans, I crave it all the time. This was a great alternative to make it as a short cut. I did use the smoked sausage. My husband and I enjoyed it so much, we only had enough for leftovers for one. I also used minute rice. I will double the recipe next time to eat it again the next day. I let it cook on medium heat for approximatley 10 minutes after the recommended hour to let the beans soften a little more. In doing this I did add a little water just to make the sauce the beans make more gravy like.

For the life of me I couldn't find this recipe on FN's site so I went to the Neely's BBQ website & found this.
    3/4 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cups paprika
    3 3/4 TBSP. onion powder
I gave an average rating for not posting the rub recipe in the actual recipe
