As other reviews I too use feta cheese and double the dressing. I have made this salad on 7 occassions and it's tastier every time.

Delish and refreshing!!
I did however make one small change like most reviewers, I replaced the goat cheese for feta and it was fantastic!! The pasta does soak up alot of the dressing so you may consider doubling it.

TDF I changed the basic recipe the second time around and found you can do that and still have a bowl licking salad. Kept the dressing as written but I roasted grape tomatoes with the aspg. Since goat cheese in my neighborhood is akin to gold! I used Feta . The tomatoes add another sweet treat layer and the feta that tart snap you need in your mouth. Gaul darn this is a terrific salad. It's in my rotation..

This is a wonderful recipe. I love to make this when I have company coming for dinner. The crumbled goat cheese is a wonderful addition and gives the recipe a wonderful texture.

Terrific. Use a little less pasta. It really soaks up the olive oil. Keep some of the pasta water on hand.

I absolutely adore this recipe! I have made it several times this summer and consider it a staple for cook outs. The dressing is wonderful and I agree you should make a little extra. The salad is perfect as is but I may try adding some grape tomatoes and crisp bacon sometime. I have also subbed feta and it was great. I was wondering about the calorie content....

delish. used cheese tortellini instead of bowtie pasta - i served it alongside fresh salmon baked with a honey/mustard/walnut sauce. YUM!
