I made this dish tonight. Followed the recipe to the letter. It was a disaster. The meat was dry and over cooked. Would not try again.

DELICIOUS! I followed the recipe and then pan fried w/ olive oil. Came out so tender and juicy and the crust is delicious! I served with a cheesy broccoli mushroom casserole. YUM!

The recipe on the bottom portion described what to but in the bag. Add the panko, cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper, to taste, to a large heavy duty resealable plastic bag. Add the beaten eggs to a casserole dish. Remove the pork chops from brine. Dredge the chops through the eggs and shake them, 1 at a time, in the bread crumb mixture. The were east to follow.. Just have to learn how to read full directions first before just dipping into the recipe. Loved this recipe.. The pork chops are great. Love watching you two together in the kitchen.

Just a note - the amount of salt for the brine is 1/4 CUP, not tsp. I looked up this recipe a couple hours after watching it on t.v. to make it for dinner but knew that they used a measuring cup for the salt. Thank goodness it was on again and it was scheduled to be recorded.
When I watched it they said the correct measurement of 1/4 cup - the pork chops were so tender, juicy and delicious!!

Good flavor, HOWEVER, the posted directions are confusing as the brine ingredients are not separated from the breading ingredients and the directions say to put ALL ingredients into the brine!!. Good thing I'm not a novice cook and figured out that you shouldn't put panko crumbs and eggs into a brine! :- Only going to give 3 stars for poor directions.
