Easy to prepare, quick [assuming you use previously deveined and peeled shrimp] and very tasty, but do not overcook shrimp. I would suggest reducing boiling time at end of recipe by one or two minutes. I substituted andouille sausage for more spice and because kielbasa is not available where I live in Mexico. Next time I will add some diced canned jalapenos for more zest.

this recipe was fantastic. it was quick, easy and taste great. Didn't use white wine only chicken broth. I was only a fan of grits in the morning until now. So proud of myself I took a picture of my dish and put it on facebook. Making it again for dinner tomorrow and inviting a few friends over. Thanks Neely's !!!!!!!!

I'm from the south so I love a good shrimp and grits recipe and this one did not disappoint! My whole family loved it and I even ended up making a second batch it was so popular! The only change I made was I added about a tablespoon of creole seasoning just to give it a little kick. This one will definitely be a go to recipe!

my husband loved this! He told me I out did myself this time...I added some old bay because it was not very spicy at all. I sent this recipe to my daughter to fix for her man....
