it definitely wasn't bad, but i wasn't very impressed. i think i'd rather have some cheddar cheese grits with just simply cajun seasoned grilled shrimp.

NO SHORT HAND TEXT TALK HERE... THIS WAS OH MY GOD, GOOD! I AM FROM THE NORTH AND MOVED SOUTH AND I HAD NO IDEA GRITS COULD BE LIKE THIS WITHOUT COOKING FOR 20 MINUTES. THE NEELY'S HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD WITH THE SHRIMP ALSO, WOW IN AMAZEMENT. I MADE NO CHANGES AND FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS TO THE "T". THE SPRINKLE FAIRY AND GRILL KING DO IT AGAIN!!!

Delicious! I used chorizo sausage, and added some fresh mushrooms and celery. I also added more cajun seasoning and some cayenne pepper. I didn't drain the tomatoes because we like some sauce.
    The grits were excellent!
    This is a keeper!

I have become obsessed with trying recipes from the two food channels..my family haven't been as thrilled with some of the food and asked me to just make our tried and true favorites..they loved this recipe..I made it as close to the recipe as I could..I didn't have 2 lbs of shrimp I had a little more than 1 lb..I had more smoked sausage and used it and the dinner was great..rival a restaurant..thank you

this recipe was simply delicious. I made it without the white wine and added the entire package of sausage. I plan on making it again for the third time
