My husband loved this jambalaya. I made it basically the same as the recipe except I did let it cook about 5 minutes longer so the rice could absorb more liquid. I also cooked the chicken a little longer before i mixed it with the other ingredients so that it would finish about the same time as the rice. This was a very easy recipe and I will definitely make it again. The entire meal consisted of the jambalaya, collards (not Gina's Boozy ones because I make a mean pot of collards myself and made from scratch cornbread. This is a great recipe.

Awesome and very tasty! I added fire roasted chiles and used dried herbs on hand instead of fresh. You definatley need 2 1/2 cups broth or liquid per 1 cup long grain rice to cook the rice through..

Loved it! This was such an easy recipe, my 8 year old made this for us tonight, with little supervision. Not only was it a easy dish, it was also a very quick meal.

Yum! You can't beat a one-pot meal, especially if you are cooking for one. Question. How do I avoid undercooked rice?

My daughter and I were watching this morning and decided to try the recipe out. I tweeked it alittle bit by adding red pepper flakes and we love it! My husband liked it so much that even though it was temp too hot and was burning his tongue he still continued to eat because it was so good!
