Tasty... but I do agree. We made this dish 2x. 1st time we followed the recipe as is. 2nd time we added 4 slices of thick cut smoked bacon. Definitely not healthier, but gave it the flavor we felt it needed. We took it to a family gathering and it was gone in a flash and got lots of compliments. Will be making it again!

I wish there were a 4.5. This didn't really knock anyone's socks off, but it was very good and I'll make it again. Broiling it at the end works well for browning. I cooked it for about 10 minutes longer, but ended up broiling to get the brown top. It made good leftovers!

So, I thought these were tasty, but not as flavorful as I was expecting. I used 1 1/2 teaspoons of smoked paprika, so I didn't skimp there. I wanted to make them a bit healthier, so I used fat-free 1/2 & 1/2. Also, the recipe says to take the foil off for the last 15 minutes of cooking time in order to brown the top, but after 18 minutes, it had not even begun to brown. I ended up putting it under the broiler to do the trick. Not sure why they weren't tastier, but glad I tried them. The fiance' and parents both loved them! Served them with balsamic garlic marinated grilled shrimp and roasted asparagus.
