I was so excited to make this drink. I love prosecco and strawberries. However, it tasted so bland. I couldn't believe it because it looks beautiful with all the strawberries, limes and mint. I couldn't even drink a glass full, poured the whole thing out. Wish it tasted like it looked.

today is my birthday and your show today was birthday breakfast bbq... and it jus so happened that i was writing down the strawberry sunshine recipe when i turned it to the channel and you were makin the same thing... it was jus my day to watch you guys... so thanks for the delicious recipes and the thoughts of me... just playing... but i love your recipes...

You can use flavored coffee syrups like Da Vinci, or even sweetened drink mix, like Kool-Aid, made extra stong by using only one-fourth the water.
When I make this, I add a little ginger-ale, or lemon-lime soda, to cut the acidity of the wine.
