I made this tonight and it was easy to make. The potatoes came out nice and creamy and you can definitely taste and smell the bourbon and the cayenne. It starts off with a bourbon taste and finishes with a spicy cayenne. My husband and I did not care for it but if you like bourbon and cayenne you will like this recipe.

I tried the recipe today. I loved it! My family will be over around 4:00p.m. E.S.T. I will write again to tell you if they enjoyed the flavors. I thought the heat from the cayenne was perfect! Just enough to hit the back of you throat. Very flavorful without the exact aroma of the holidays. I added some of the holiday flavors but the cayenne took it down a notch.

    Thank you once again!
