Great cookies, my granddaughter who is in college fell in love with them. My nephew has me making him some at the present time along with the rest of the thing I have to make for Thanksgiving Dinner. I will be making and passing on this recipe to them.....................

These are easy to make and taste great. I made a few changes - added more vanilla (1-1/2 teaspoons into the batter and used 1-3/4 cups confectioners sugar and 4 tablespoons of oj in icing.

These cookies turned out great! I couldn't find the puree so I peeled, cut into 1inch pieces, then boiled & mashed 1 sweet potato instead. The "heaping" size did make the cookies a bit larger than I would've liked. I split the batter in half and added pecans & pistachios in one and pecans & crasins in the other.Would work with pumpkin puree as well.

If you are considering making these cookies DO IT! They are delish, perfect for a Christmas treat! Don't skip the pecans for the Orange Glaze, The Neely's have the perfect balance going on. I took the extra step to make my own white sweet potato puree and it was so worth it!

I maded these cookies to replace sweet potato pie for my husband and discovered the most delicious cookies. My family could not decided whether they liked the cookies with or without the glaze -- both ways were delicious. I will most definitely make these cookies part of my Thanksgiving next year.

I just did a trial run of this recipe before I actually made them for thanksgiving, and oh my goodness the cookies came out great! My family loved them and the oramge glaze just tops it off! I told my girlfriend about this recipe and she also made them, she had the pecans in hers, and I didn't put them in cause my family isn't to crazy about nuts. But both taste great thank you Pat & Gina for something sweet & different to enjoy & add to my dinner!!!

One word to describe these cookies Scrumptious. The recipe was very easy to follow. I did not use canned sweet potato. I used sweet potatoes that I baked in the oven. I pureed the sweet potatoes in my kitchenaid. I was able to get 36 cookies out my batch. I will make this again and again. Thanks for sharing such an incredible recipe.
