These cookies are great. I've made them three times now and everyone who has tried them has loved them. Easy to make. Tastes great. You can't go wrong with these cookies.

I'm going to give them five stars, but with a word of warning to recipe deviants like me! I am one to try and make a recipe a little lighter, and so I utilized a vegan alternative to butter and I baked/mashed/puréed my own sweet potatoes. I ended up with a DELICIOUS batter, and I rolled it into little balls (12 to a pan to bake thinking they would spread as cookies tend to do. But not these cookies - I am guessing it was all in the changes I made, but when they came out of the oven, they had baked into little autumnal cake balls! Delicious autumnal cake balls, though... regardless, I recommend this recipe, for whatever your batter bakes into, it will be SCRUMPTIOUS!

Well, my partner who also hates sweet potatoes loves these cookies. He's had 3 so far. They're delicious and I feel healthier eating them since they're made of sweet potato. Wonderful!

I made these cookies this afternoon. Awesome!! I could not find sweet potato puree in my neighborhood grocery store so I purchase a whole sweet potato, peeled it, cut it into 1" pieces and boiled until very tender. I mashed it and it worked fine. I also used my stand mixer. I only used about 1/2 cup of pecans chips and that was plenty for me. I first started eating the cookies without the glaze, they were very good. I then halfed the recipe and made the glaze and topped 6 of the cookies with the glaze. The glaze sets off the cookie right!! Thanks Neely's!

Way to go Pat & Gina! These cookies are the bomb! Light and moist with just the right amount of everything. My hubby isn't crazy about sweet potatoes and he loved these cookies. I will definitely make again, probably during the Thanksgiving and Christimas holiday.

My fiance is a cookie fanatic and we saw these and had to try them immediately. He found organic sweet potato puree at the local supermarket and made them last night. I honestly LOVE them! They are so fluffy and delicious I had to bring some to my friends and they loved them too. The orange glaze is super easy and a perfect accompaniment. He wants to try raisins in them next time.

I tried these after watching the show, because I was curious about a sweet potato cookie. My husband and my Nephew thought they were amazing. I am not a sweet potato lover but... I did try one and I love it!

These cookies and the recipes from the Neelys have always been a hit in my kitchen. :-
