Ok, but definitely not great. I think it was the italian cheese blend that made it bland and gummy instead of creamy. I might try again with a different cheese, perhaps a sharp cheddar.

I decided to try this recipe because I had a lot of shredded cheese that I needed to use up. I had cheddar and colby jack so I used equal parts of that... It wasn't amazing or anything, but it was pretty good, and super easy and quick. My family enjoyed it, so I'll be making it again. Next time I will use the italian cheese blend, and maybe it will be even better.

Came out good, but I had to add some flavor. I added some nutmeg, dry parsley and i used cheddar and parmessan instead of the 5 italian cheese. My picky 5yr old did complain about the onion, but he still clean his plate. Next time I'll just put less onion, Oh I also added some broccoli since my son loves it.

I've made it twice, once with 1-3/4 C cheddar cheese blend and 1/2 C mozzarella; and 2 C sharp cheddar and 1 C smoked gouda. Both turned out good. It's not the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had but definitely one of the easiest I've ever made.

Just made this for lunch, soooo good! Would recommend it as a great dish for teens and children. The onions are not a problem, so if your kids don't really like onions, just put in fewer. I altered the recipe a bit, and made it just one serving. I used elbow pasta, just a squirt of Dijon mustard, lots of Irish cheddar cheese, generous salt and pepper, half a cup of milk, maybe half a cup of onions, one tablespoon of flour, and a generous amount of butter. I recommend adding cheese on top just before serving.

Made this today, and it was a hit. I left out the onions, and the kids loved it! My 4 y/o ate 3 helpings! Might try a different cheese next time, but will definitely make it again!

It was ok, but not great. If I try it again I will omit the onions and use a tangier cheese.

i was super disappointed... my 6 year old said one thing...YUCK. my husband said it was ok, it didn't have any flavor. i was like then how can you say it was "ok"....he's like because it didn't taste "bad" like i wanted to vomit, but it just didn't taste like anything. so i agree with a few others, i definitely love the ease of the recipe & the basis of it (that's why i gave it 2 stars....i will experiment with a different cheese.
