These cookies were good, however, I found them to be a little crumbly. I couldn't get them to mix, so I added two egg whites and that helped the dough hold together better. They were eaten fast!

These were excellent cookies to use on cookie plates for Christmas. They froze great, and came out just as fresh as the day I baked them. They are very addictive...can't eat just one!

Followed the recipe and experienced some of the same frustrations that others experienced per their reviews. Despite the obstacles the cookies turned out just fine. They are butter cookies, not sugar cookies, which I believe many others thought they were making. Used Christmas cookie cutters. These are fragile cookies thus the wings kept breaking off the angels. I will need to buy a pig cookie cutter for the next time.

As for all you angry frustrated bakers, I hope you were still able to enjoy your Christmas!

These cookies are light and buttery. Just sweet enough. The kids enjoyed cutting them into Christmas shapes. Very easy and I am excited to add them to my recipe box. Merry Christmas!!

This is my first butter cookie attempt. They turned out very well, considering I kinda beat the dough to death ... over-rolling, etc. The cookies have a great, buttery flavor. I let them crisp up a bit longer than the recipe called for. Will use finely chopped nuts on the surface next time (per boy friend's request.

We used this as our Christmas cookie recipe this year, since my daughter has an egg allergy. They turned out great! The dough was super easy to make and my daughter had fun cutting the shapes and decorating. Definitely appreciate the tip to let the dough soften for about an hour before starting to work with it. Can't wait to use this recipe again.
