We all really liked the citrus flavor in the glaze, BUT it was like water. Never got thick, so I was disappointed and I let it simmer for one hour and waited. I wish I knew how to thicken up the glaze to have really enjoyed that salmon.

This was delicious. We loved the citrus glaze on the salmon and favor this now over a teriyaki or smoked bbq flavor marinade. We cooked the salmon on a cedar plank and basted the sauce over during the cooking process. Took a little longer to cook since it was not over direct heat. Also halved the recipe for 2 servings and it was right on. Thanks for the yummy recipe.

Loved it! Even my husband (who generally thinks salmon is too rich really liked it. It seems like a great versatile starter recipe; next time I'll add some heat with finely minced jalapenos, or add mango chunks to make it more of a salsa.

We loved this recipe! I loved the glaze. I added 1 tsp. sesame oil and 4 tbsp. soy sauce instead of 2. Also, it was so cold outside that I broiled it in the oven instead of grilling it. I broiled it for 2 minutes. Then turned it over, broiled it another 2 minutes. Then, added the glaze, and and broiled it 1 more minute. It was fabulous! I made oven roasted potatoes with it. My family loved it!

I is tart. I just made it. I added some more sugar (white & brown, coconut oil & a dash of soy sauce. It got better. Put ur patience hat on while waiting for it to "syrup up."

I didn't like this as much as their grilled salmon with chinese bbque (which is my new fav. way to make salmon. This seemed a little too bland. I also think Pat could ratchet back on his "y'alls" even though I've lived in the South a lot and even use the expression myself. However, his & Gina's recipes are mostly home runs, so I overlook this. After all, he's not as hard to listen to as Paula Deen (talk abt. using too many y'alls!!, as his recipes are much better IMHO!!

Too sweet for my taste. Tip- make the glaze the night before to give the flavors a chance to meld.
This glaze goes great with chicken wings as an alternative to hot sauce. I like adding fresh, slow roasted garlic to the glaze too and I am experimenting with dashes of tabasco!
    I like to experiment.....ya alllllllll !!!!!

I'm from the south and say ya'll but does pat have to say it in every sentence. I've even heard him say it twice in one sentence. love the show and use lots of the recipes but i just can't watch it anymore.
