Oh my, this was lip-smackin' delicious! I made it for my son's 18th surprise birthday party with a bunch of teens and nothing was left! His best friend actually requested I make a white chicken chili and remembered seeing this recipe so I printed it out and made it. It is now a required meal in our home at least 1 Friday night a month! Neelys, 'YA DONE GOOD' with this one. I did change it up just a tad nearly triple-sizing it for the party and I did add a can of Rotel Chili ready tomatoes and pepper to it. Just excellent dish, if you haven't tried it, you are missing the boat on this one!!!!

My family loved this recipe!! My husband and I love anything with some "heat." I have cooked many Neely recipes, and each one of them have turned out Awesome. I have made them for parties, dinner, and pot luck dishes, and I never have any left!!

I made this recipe (doubled for a NFL play-off game party. Everyone loved it! The spices are perfectly balanced so there is just enough heat. After reading some of the comments here, I added an extra can of mashed up beans, so the chili was nice and thick, and I decreased the lime juice. I made it Saturday evening for Sunday afternoon, and it tasted great - but it tasted even better to me when I had a bowl for lunch on Monday. So when I make it again - and it's a definite keeper - I'll make it 2 days ahead of time.

Good flavor and easy to make.....but......no texture! It had a very mushy feel in your mouth....not like soup and not like chili. Thinks this recipe could use a little corn kernel or 'chunkier' chicken....the shredded chicken and canned beans turned this into an tortilla filling more than a good hearty chili - in spite of the crushed tortilla chips used as garnish. I think some garbanzo beans and/or chorizo sausage might do well in this. I added a 3rd can of beans cause there was too much liquid and that solved the problem.

Absolutely love this recipe. It was a complete hit with the whole family. Made a double batch twice now, and both times no leftovers. Did not change a thing, and very easy to throw everything in the crockpot and let it cook all day! I don't like peppers, but the pablanos were what made it so good! Can't wait to try another one of their recipes:

I just made this tonight and it was wonderful! My husband and I both loved it. I didn't have any poblano peppers or ancho chili powder because I couldn't find those. So I used regular chili powder and added hot sauce that I had. The only thing extra I had to add was pepper and salt because I didn't add enough. Also I didn't use the rotisserie chicken because I just liked being able to boil my own chicken and use the chicken broth from it. It was so good! This recipe is definitely a keeper and I'll be making it again.

This is a new family and neighborhood favorite. I serve tortilla chips, mexican blend shredded cheese and Greek yogurt. Delicious. I also add a can of Bush's chili magic. I love love Love this recipe.
