Let me just say, the first time I tried this recipe, I replaced the tomato paste with more diced tomatoes, and I left out the green bell peppers; both only because I didn't have them. The second time I had everything. The only difference was that I added an extra clove of garlic because I love it, and I only added 1 lb of ground beef because I was too lazy to separate another package. It came out great, even with the same amount of everything else! The paste made it the right, thick consistency, and the peppers add liquid and flavor. It is more sweet than canned "red sauce", but I like it because of that. It's different. It's hearty and I love veggies. Pure sauce would be kind of a bore to me. If I can do it, and have my boyfriend ask for seconds, you can make it and love it, too!

It's really good, maybe a little too sweet for spaghetti sauce, but super easy to make and definitely better than store bought sauce!!!

Best Spaghetti Sauce recipe for sure and it doesn't take long to make. I did simmer an hour instead of 30 minutes and added 1 lb of ground beef and 1/2lb of Hot Italian Sausage. Delicious!!

This is a no fail recipe. It freezes well and can be used with any pasta. I also use it for lasagna. Thanks, Paula and Alice Jo!

Made this tonight and followed the recipe exactly, only I threw in diced zucchini, added a little extra of both garlic and Italian seasoning. I think the sugar and the worcestershire make a difference. I wouldn't skip out on it. This is definitely the best homemade spaghetti sauce I've made yet. You can definitely taste the layers in this one. I'm saving it!

My husband and I had never made homemade spaghetti sauce, but are trying to be healthier, so we wanted to give it a try. This is the one we tried, and we LOVE it! We are making this one from here on out!

Absolutely incredible! I've been on the search for a great spaghetti sauce that will "wow" people. This is the one! It's so full of flavor and the aroma while it cooks makes my mouth water. Delicious! I can stop searching for a great spaghetti sauce now. My husband raved about this sauce he loved it so much. I am looking forward to making this again to serve to company.

I was a bit confused as to how much Worcestershire sauce I should add, since there is no quantity listed. So I skipped that and the green peppers, and used a couple cut up tomatoes instead of stewed ones. All in all, quite a tasty sauce!
