    This is Wonderful !! I added just a bit more sugar to the recipe. Other then that, is is Absolutely fantastic, just like it is. The tad of Butter that Paula suggests, just puts this recipe, over the top, better then any spaghetti sauce I've tasted.

    I just loved this recipe. It's very easy to make and doesn't take all day to simmer. My family used to like the already made jarred spaghetti sauce. Not anymore!! I wouldn't change anything in this recipe.

    Someone who calls spaghetti "noodles" and puts BUTTER on meat sauce has no right giving an Italian lesson, even if she is a "star". Shame on you Paula!

    I love Paula's cooking, but the recipes I have tried lately have just lacked something. This spaghetti sauce is no exception. It's okay, but I certainly would not rave about it nor serve it to my guests. Just no "punch".

    Such and easy sauce to make, I did it just as the recipe says. I served it over elbow macaroni, it would be good over any pasta! I put a pat of butter on mine just as Paula did on the show, made it that much better!

    I've been looking for a recipe for this kind of sauce since I left the South over 20 years ago. This is true Southern style spaghetti sauce. If you're looking for an "authentic" Italian sauce, this isn't for you. But oh, how wonderful this is. I just couldn't get enough. And I didn't change a single thing. Too good to mess with!!

    I made this for my husband and my brother. They liked it, but did not rave about it. If I make it again, I will probably add mushrooms or zucchini as I thought it was just TOOOOO much tomato. Needed something else to balance it out.
