I purchased a $4.99 rotisserie chicken, used the recipe and added walnuts instead of almonds and seedless white grapes. Oh! My Word! What a great and elegant salad! To die for!

For those of you who did not read this recipe correctly, please try it again. It is really the best chicken salad I've had. It's very close to my one recipe except I really like the addition of lemon juice and almonds. The lemon juice brings out the flavors and the almond gives the salad a nice crunch. How anyone could mess this up is beyond me since Paula's recipes are so easy and so delicious. Definitely give this one a try (again, but read it correctly this time. Thanks Paula, love your show.

I used a precooked chicken from the store. Deboned and diced it and used the filling in mini wonton wrapper cups for an appetizer. Quick, delicious and requested by all attending! Thanks again Paula for a winner

I thoroughly enjoyed this recipe. The almonds made a great change in your normal texture for chicken salad. The only thing i would have to put in a SMALL complaint about, would be the recipe calls for too much mayo for my taste. plus i doubled the amount of chicken to use and it was still a good amount of mayo. Other than that, great recipe!

This was so easy and soooo good. Also good with grapes quartered and pecans instead of almonds.

I altered this recipe a bit.. okay a lot. I thought it was just a tad bland so I added sweet relish, a few splashes of hot sauce and some Mrs. Dash. The additions added some zing to the salad. My husband loved it.

This was easy and it tastes wonderful. I increased the chicken a bit and reduced the salt. I used whole almonds chopped up in the food processor. The almonds and celery amounts are great. My husband loves it in his packed lunch. I will be making this a lot. Thanks for the recipe Paula.

After reading the reviews, I still made this recipe. I decided to experiment with spices while cooking the chicken (I used 2 breasts and cut back on the celery. I also used diced pecans instead of almonds. It was really tasty! I think this is a good starting point for people who don't have a chicken salad recipe and want to add what they love. I'll make it again!
