This a very good recipe just as it is or tweaking it to suit your individual taste. I think the Lemon juice creates a wonderful clean summer taste that can be enhanced by adding cranberries or red seedless grapes as well. I like using pecans, walnuts or almonds as you can not go wrong with whichever one you choose. Apples or golden raisins work well in this salad also. You can top many different "beds" with this mixture and not go wrong with any you pick. Fresh ground peppercorns add a nice flavor profile as does using fresh ground sea salt instead of using iodized salt. I roasted fresh chicken breasts with the skin on and later removed the skin and rendered fat which added another flavor profile. Using properly done grilled chicken is quite successful as well again with the skin on and later removing it. There are so many different ways to tweak this recipe one should just suit their own tastes and you will have a very successful dish.

I used half mayo and half plain yogurt. I normally like to add grapes or apple to it.

This has a really good flavor but I would not put as much celery as it called for. Instead, I added a few dried cranberries. My guest really enjoyed it.

Really good! The lemon is a nice touch! I used good canned chicken, so i omitted the salt.(canned chicken is salty already. I also added a little celery seed.

I LOVE this recipe! I used pecans instead of almonds and added some green grapes for some sweetness. So tasty, thanks Paula!

The recipe called for too much salt. I will leave it out the next time, I make it. Loved the simple ingregients. I added a little sweet pickle juice to counteract the salt. We really liked it then. Will definately make it again.

This is my go to fast and easy lunch recipe. The lemon juice and mayo combination is really tasty. It's really easy to use leftover chicken breast too. Thanks Paula for another tasty treat! (make sure you season to your taste with salt and pepper - it really makes a difference

This is one of the best (and easiest chicken salad recepies I have used. I add some sunflower seeds to mine, and use a homemade rasberry dressing.
