My family thought that it was only okay. I did add some cranraisins and I thought it made it better. I do wish she stated how to cook the chicken. That could have just been me.

Great simple recipe! I changed a few things though. I cut way back on the salt, added some pepper, scallions or diced red onion and toasted the almonds. Also great with diced tomato.

I found this recipe to be excellent and easy. Great for sandwiches or on top of a crisp green salad. I will place it in my favorite file!

This recipe was way to salty. I had to add sugar to cancel out the salty taste. Did it a second time and left out the salt and reduced the lemon juice by a tad and it was sooo much better.

I love this Chicken Salad, My whole Family does. I squeeze a little more lemon juice on top when I serve it instead of salt.
    Its wonderful.

This is so close to the recipe I always use! Good Southern tradition. The main diference is that I just use a can of white chicken and eyeball the mayo & the rest. BUT I also add alphafa spounts. Not only does this add another layer od texture but also will stretch The number of servings. Sometimes I will quarter a tomato almost all the way through and stuff the tomato with the chicken salad. Hmmm, I have everything I need to make it right now. Think I'll go fix some!

This recipe was way too salty for me. Next time I will not add the salt. I also added dried cranberries and toasted the almonds. Without the salt, the recipe would be fabulous!

This is a really easy and FANTASTIC chicken salad recipe. But I don't understand why she added the salt. It really isn't needed as the salt completely ruined the dish for me and my guests. Seriously. Everyone took one bite and left the rest on their plates. On the second try ... w/o the salt ... everyone LOVED it!!

This is really a simple and delicious recipe and it is great on bread or just eating it by itself. I know some people leave out the slivered almonds but they are a must... they give it a great texture when you eat it.

VARIATIONS... I added a half cup of diced red onion as I love the flavor that it adds. I used two large chicken breasts and (basically 3.5 cups and used about 3/4 cup of diced celery (1 cup would have been fine as well.

I definitely recommend this recipe to anyone... it'll be a regular once you try it.
