For me, I need to decrease the amount of salt. The original recipe was too salty for me.

I tried this recipe because i watched Paula do it and looked so easy. Well it was but the only thing I changed was I had to add more lemon juice. As a matter of fact I squeezed 2 whole lemons to cut the obvious mayo flavor. Next time I will take some of the reviewers advice and add red or green onions or both.

This is a different tasting chicken salad. It is great for a quick meal and it is refreshing. You can even use canned chicken! I prefer the type with dark and white meat. If you tired and hungry, try this one!

This was super for my Ladies Book Club even when I added a little more chicken, mayo and almonds. Everyone loved it!

This salad was pretty good! It's not one of my favorite Paula Deen recipes, but it was very easy to make and did taste good. I grilled the chicken, and next time I think I will roast it next time, the grilling made it too tough. I added diced apples to mine because I felt like it needed something a little bit sweet and crunchy, besides the celery and almonds. I thought, overall, it was a very tasty salad. Thanks Paula!

To add one of my favorite flavorings - Madras Curry - and it changes the whole taste. However, it is yummy without it, too.

This recipe was terrible. It was absolutely flavorless, and needed more than a few minutes to correct. If you're even going to attempt to use this recipe be sure to double the celery, add green onions, finely diced red onion, chives and fresh ground pepper. Only then was I able to make it eatable.

I think the lemon juice is what turned me off. I even added sliced red grapes, cracked black pepper, and toasted the slivered almonds. A comment of caution: Add the salt gradually to taste. For a great recipe to prepare chicken to use in salads and casseroles, etc., try the "stock recipe" from Paula Deen's The Lady's Chicken Noodle Soup.
