The recipe was great but I did not put almond extract in the icing and when I tasted the swirls they had a almost overpowering almond flavor. Next time I will probably use a half teaspoon of almond extract in the cream cheese only.

I tried these one day and could npt eat just one. I took them to my grandmother's house and let my family try them. Now I'm having to give the recipe to both of my aunts. They all loved them.

This recipe should be called "danish dessert" there so good, the only change I made was I used walnuts and vanilla extract, still awesome. I had to double the glaze, and if I was going to make them again I think I might try peanuts with a chocolate glaze, sounds yummy to me, the combinations are endless. Thanks Paula for another great treat.

Simple, just enough sweetness and flavor. These are the best flavors combined. Don't forget to put the egg wash on. I made two batches and forgot to put egg wash on second batch. They were not as moist when reheated up or eaten cold as the first batch was.
