    The only change I made was to use Kahlua instead of Amaretto and I heated my cream in the microwave instead of on the stove top (faster...but either my way or Paulas'...simply delicious, easy and budget friendly! Made it for dinner guests who were "oh so impressed'!!

    I love it! And in answer to a previous post about it separating and getting thick....it's probably because it was heated twice. Chocolate can't handle that. So once you make it, keep it heated and don't stop eating til it's gone!!

    I made this recipe and it was delicious but the fat seemed to separate from the chocolate and would not mix back in. Does anyone know what I did wrong or what happened? Let me know because I'd love to make it again with out that happening, it made it hard for the chocolate to stick and it was really thick and did not look good but tasted great!

    Last night, I made fondue for the first time - this recipe was super easy, straightforward and fast! It took less than 10 minutes to make. I was concerned that the fonude would have an overly "amretto" flavor which it did not, if you didn't know liquer was in here, you probably wouldn't have tasted it - highly recommend!

    I added some nutmeg and used 1/2 cup cream and 1/2 cup amaretto to make it a little less rich but delicious either way.
