This pie was easy to make and very tasty. I had a whole pumpkin that I broke down to puree and no idea how to make pie. It was great for a first pie. I even found some pumpkin butter, when I went to the store for apple butter, and tried that. Both pies were very tasty and had a wonderful texture. It encouraged me to experiment and try some more difficult pies. Thank you Mrs. Deen! :

I made the Libby pumpkin pie for years and years. Then I happened to see Paula's Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie. My Mom loved pumpkin pie and I made this recipe one year and she was so impressed. She would even request it during the year, not just at Thanksgiving. I do not understand why this pie is only showing four stars. It should have at least 10!!!! Thanks Paula!

Really good pie, has a different taste (that's good from regular pumpkin pie. The apple butter seems to diminish the ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg somewhat. We enjoyed it for a switch!

I have had pumpkin pie all my life...well most of the time but I never had one of Paula's pies!!!

My kids shared in making this recipe last year and it was a really big hit. It was so much of a hit that one daughter ate a whole pie by herself prior to the holdidays. We are gearing up to make quite a few more than we did last year for this years holiday feast.

Way too easy to make. It was delicious. I took a pie to work and my critical co workers fell in love. Delicious!
