    I had been wanting my grandmother's recipe for a long time, but my aunt can not ever remember to give it to me. I found this recipe and took the pies over to a family gathering and they all were gone before I even got to try one. I no longer need my grandmother recipe. Thanks Paula.

    These easy and quick fried pies immediately became a husband pleasing addition to breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have also sustituted fresh peaches and they work well too.

    THIS IS SO DELICIUOS-NOT LOW CAL BUT WORTH IT. I MADE SOME WITH HAM AND SWISS, AND SERVED WITH POWDWERED SUGAR AND STRAWBERRY PRESEVES. YUMMY, MONTE CRISTO.
