I only used the filling 'cause I had some puff pastry to get rid of.
Very good and eeaaaasy! Great with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Not too sweet, either!
Thanks, Paula!

I liked the apple filling very much. However, the biscuit dough for the crust was too salty for my taste, I would have preferred Paula to suggest a sweet dough for the fried apple pies suggestion.

Paula I have tried and tried to make fried apple pies and until now they have been a flop. This is a wonderful recipe and easy too. I used apple pie filling and also cherry pie filling and they were still wonderful.

Paula please help!! I see others and myself are having a problem with the pies not being cooked through. I have tried higher temp. and lower temp. and even bakeing in the over at various temp. levels and they are still not cooking through. They taste great even this way, however I won't try them again unless I can get this problem solved.
