This recipe was fabulous. It was easy to prepare, turned out golden brown and beautiful. The taste was wonderful. The entire family loved it. Thank you Paula for sharing this recipe. Sincerely, Dorothy

This is a very good recipe, I also do this with just about any fruit pie fillings I make. Freeze them up and send them to work in hubbies lunches. DBL YUMMMM

Instead of frying the pie, I baked it in the oven. It took a little longer to get crispy, but it was still delicious!

I made the pies as a snack and sprinkled powdered sugar over them, wow did they ever eat them all up.
Thanks Paula

We did a fish fry, so I thought we would just follow-up by having a fried dessert....we actually changed it up a bit. We are all cheesecake fans. I sweetened up some cream cheese and bought blueberry pie filling. A tablespoon of cream cheese filling and a little less than a teaspoon of pie filling and it made some awesome fried cheese cakes. We all loved it.

I have made these apples plenty of times. They are easy and they fry up perfect everytime!! I reccommend that everyone try Paula's fried apples with or without the powdered sugar is fine for me. And might I suggest grating some fresh nutmeg on the apples as well. Thanks Paula as always for quick and delicious recipes:-
