I tried this recipe once I saw it on your show. The flavors are wonderful. I plan to take it to a potluck for our office Holiday Party.

I've made this recipe for years, without the shrimp, & serve it in lieu of potato salad. It is not a new recipe. Regardless, we love it. I serve it cold and letting it marinade for a day allows the flavor to intensify. I suppose you could replace the shrimp with cooked chicken to make it into chicken salad. Again, if you wait a day to serve it, it is even more flavorful.

BUT I truly found this recipe to be awful. I even feel bad posting this. I know that with every recipe it's a matter of personal preference. Everyone has different taste buds. My husband and I love southern food, fried food, exotic food, you name it. I thought that I would have enjoyed this one, but unfortunately I didn't.

I made this to share on a boat trip and then brought the leftovers to work (I made a double batch I've printed 6 copies of the recipe. Everyone loved it. The only thing I did different was that I used frozen ready to thaw and eat shrimp rather than fresh boiled, other than that I wouldn't change a thing!

I make it without the curry powder. It's so good hot and I love the cold leftovers. I'm going to try it with leftover roasted chicken too without the olives. Thank you Paula!

A great friend made this for our multiple family vacation together in the mountains. I loved it. Ate leftovers the next day and the next day! Got even better after a day in the frig. I even had some of it added to an omelet one morning! Can't wait to try it as a hot casserole!!

I prepared this for myself and my flatmates here at college on a cold Sunday afternoon. I left out the kalamata olives and used an instant chicken flavored rice by Uncle Ben as well. The 20 minutes went by amazingly fast, preparation was very easy, as well as collecting all the items for preparation (price friendly as well!!! The warm flavor and color gave a sense of relaxing comfort food. My flatmates are very excited, and had multiple helpings as well! We love this recipe. Thank you Paula Deen! You are amazing and talented! We love watching you on the Food Network. I love to cook. One side of my family is from Italy whereas the other side is Irish (and now reside in the deep south! We have such a mix of great foods and casseroles, but I have to admit... This recipe is by far, the BEST casserole I've ever had! Thank you!

This was one of the best salads ever. I put it in the oven and sprinkled a little cheddar cheese over the top and it was delicious. I also shared it with my brother and he thought it was great also. This recipe is a keeper!

Loved the recipe. I used canned chicken instead of shrimp and it was simply delicious!! My husband loved it.
