This was a great salad, served either hot or cold. I did tweak it a bit....I left out the water chestnuts and added juice of 1/2 a lime, some cilantro and a squeeze of honey. My husband loves it and he's a chef!!

This was a decent recipe - I agree with several of the reviews that it was a bit bland and needs to be adjusted to taste accordingly. I also found it a little greasy so I will definitely reduce the oil next time. Also, I omitted the w. chestnuts and substituted edamame for the sugar snap peas. Using leftover rotisserie chicken also added flavor to the dish.

Super easy, super delicious. I made this one time and took it to work for lunch. I left with an empty bowl and tons of complaints. Even my grand kids love it.

This is a wonderfully light and satisfying salad. The dressing, although mild, is fine the way it is but you may wish to alter it according to your likes and dislikes. I used fresh (blanched asparagus instead of snap peas. I'm anxious to try this recipe using shrimp with maybe a lemon vinegrette. Yum!

I cannot understand all the 4 and 5 star ratings for this recipe. We all thought this was extremely bland and boring and this is after I tried to doctor it up. This recipe is going in the trash

This was very yummy I only used 1/4 cup oil and it was more than enough, I also added double the other liquids in the recipe, hoisin and soy, it was perfect!

The dish is pretty but I feel it's a bit bland. Not enough flavors for me. And yeah, this recipe makes a HUGE portion.

I added a sprinkle of dry ginger,a little black pepper and a dash of sesame seed oil to this recipe..it gave it a little more flavor but it is also very good just as the recipe reads! you can even omit the chicken and just have as a side dish.Cathy from Binghamton, NY
