This was my first time making asparagus, so i wanted to do something very simple. This was a huge hit at my dinner party, and actually got more comments than the main course that it was a side item to!

Maybe it's because I'm new to cooking asparagus but I didn't care for the lemon flavor, it was way to overbearing.

This was my husbands first time trying asparagus and he loved it. He usually doesn't eat vegetables at all and I was really suprised that he was finishing off the left overs. It was super duper easy to make also!!

Made with Paulas Hurry Up! chicken pot pie, didn't like the lemon but the boiling made crisp, colorful asparagus

I thought the recipe was very good. I added a twist to it. Before puttin in the oven i added olive oil, fresh cracked pepper and some fresh tyme then in the oven it goes for 10 min on 350. After takin it out add shaved pecorino romano cheese and fresh lemon. It went really well with my beef brisket and a bowtie salad with garlic, fresh basil and lemon... IT WAS BANGGIN.... THANK SO MUCH PAULA

I have never cooked asparagus before. I'm not sure why. This is so easy and great! I cooked the asparagus a full three minutes and my family loved it!
